Biographical

Abbreviated Biography

Last year I "officially" retired from the fire service, having served 40 years as a fire fighter, fire police officer and fire department administrative officer (including President, Vice President and Secretary of several departments and fire department related associations.

I am an active member of the community, serving in emergency services with the Berwick Chapter of the American Red Cross and also as ARRL Assistant Section Manager, Section Emergency Coordinator and District 4 District Emergency Coordinator for ham radio emergency operations.

I have worked in electrical engineering and have been an operations manager and sales engineer for several major corporations.

As a small business owner I create and sell artwork in oil, watercolor and acrylic, as well as welded metal art and crafts, and am a member of the North Mountain Art League. In addition I have authored several books, and created and set up a writers group. For the past few years we have been granted space int he Arts and Crafts building at the Bloomsburg Fair. This has been well received and has helped many local authors get much needed exposure.

I am active in numerous organizations, and have served in leadership positions in many of them.

Thank you to all those who supported my run for Berwick Council in 2015!

Thanks is due to all those who helped with my successful bid for the Berwick Council position. We pulled it off despite a Democratic Party push to get voters to pull the "straight Democrat" lever (167 did just that!) I will do my best to support my community and be a positive asset to the Council.
